GRANADA

A paradise of dreams, beauty, magic and contrasts – Granada is all that and much more.  From each of its hills you can appreciate the wonders of the others:  from the bewitching Alhambra-Generalife with its white walls and mysterious beauty, to the Arabian influences and flamenco of the Albayzin and the Sacramonte.

Turning around and heading to the centre of the city we’ll find the cathedral and the Capilla Real.  We can wander through the squares and streets, do some window shopping, admire the handicraft products and then stop in a bar for a “tapa” and something to drink.

Granada offers a wide range of cultural activities from festivals and concerts to theatre, tango and cinema.  Throughout the whole year there’s always something for all tastes and ages. If we tour the Province of Granada, we can explore the national park of the Sierra Nevada, where you can go skiing in the winter and mountaineering or hiking at any time of the year.  Coming down from the mountains you’ll find the tropical coast; the blue of the sea contrasting with the white of the snow on the mountain summits.  You can visit the Alpujarras, where the traditional way of life is conserved like a time capsule. The Granadinos tell us that all paths in Granada lead to the sea and the heavens.
